There are 3 routes to Hammersmith Tube Station:
1. The District Line with services to and from Central London via Earls Court to Richmond and Ealing Broadway. 2. The Piccadilly Line with services to and from Central London via Earls Court to South West London and Heathrow. 3. The Hammersmith and District Line to North and East London via Paddington.
By bus from Hammersmith tube station:
Either catch a bus from the Bus Station, situated in Hammersmith Broadway, or from the bus stop adjacent to St Paul's Church on Hammersmith Bridge Road. Many buses going in the direction of Barnes, Mortlake and Richmond can be caught here, principally, the 33, 72 as well as 209, 283, 285, 419 and 483. Alight after crossing Hammersmith Bridge at the junction of Castlenau and Lonsdale Road. Walk along Lonsdale Road. After 50m, turn right after the pedestrian crossing into St Hilda's Road then first left into Glentham Road. The White Building is a further 20m on the left.
By train and bus from Barnes railway station:
Barnes is on the South West Trains service between Clapham Junction and Richmond, with trains running every 20 minutes. The bus stop is located on the bridge (towards Railway Station main building) and numbers 33 and 72 take you towards Hammersmith. Alight at the top of Castlenau (after Tesco Store) and walk up to Lonsdale Road which is situated at the top of Castlenau left after the traffic lights. After 50m, turn right after the pedestrian crossing into St Hilda's Road then first left into Glentham Road. The White Building is a further 20m on the left.
To walk from Hammersmith tube station :
Proceed towards St Paul's Church, situated beneath the Great West Road flyover, keeping to the right as you pass under the flyover onto Hammersmith Bridge Road. Walk over Hammersmith Bridge onto Castlenau and turn right into Glentham Road (pedestrian access only) shortly after passing St Paul's School playing fields. Continue walking for a further 200m and The White Building is situated on your left, after crossingSt Hilda's Road.
